PROJECT/REQUIREMENTS

    Due to the acquisition of a new CNC system, the capacity of the existing compressor was no longer sufficient, so that an expansion of the compressed air supply was necessary. The aim was to ensure a high level of operational reliability and avoid production downtimes during maintenance and service periods. Particular attention was paid to an energy-efficient solution, which was also approved by BAFA. Compressed air quality in accordance with DIN ISO 8573-1 was required for painting and production. At the same time, the system was designed for consistent operation of both compressors in order to minimise maintenance costs and times. Inaddition, the limited installation space was an important requirement, so that a compact design of the system was necessary

     

SOLUTION

    A frequency-controlled RENNER RSDKMF-Pro 15 compressor was installed to meet the increased compressed air requirements resulting from the new CNC system and the expansion of production. The system ensures energy-efficient, demand-orientated compressed air generation with a high level of operational reliability. A higher-level control system enables automatic monitoring by e-mail notification in the event of maintenance or faults. Refrigeration dryer and filter unit ensure consistently high compressed air quality in accordance with DIN ISO 8573-1.

     

IMPROVEMENT

    Thanks to the improved monitoring of the compressed air system, maintenance and service work can be planned more efficiently, which increases reliability and reduces operating costs. At the same time, the improved compressed air quality ensures greater efficiency and higher process reliability. Thanks to the optimised monitoring of the compressed air system, maintenance and service work can now be planned better, resulting in reliable and cost-efficient use of the compressed air.
