PROJECT/REQUIREMENTS

  • Reliability, energy efficiency and ease of maintenance are very important factors for production lines in the textile industry. RENNER fulfils these to the highest degree thanks to its robust compressors and the associated conditioning. The challenge with the Anowara Fashions project was to efficiently adapt the compressed air generation to the required compressed air demand with often fluctuating delivery volumes. This is why the end customer opted for frequency-controlled compressors from RENNER.

SOLUTION

  • 3x RSF-PRO 55.0 screw compressor.
  • 3x DC refrigeration dryer.
  • Pre- and after-filter, generously dimensioned exhaust air duct and valve gates for cooling air supply.

IMPROVEMENT

  • Frequency control eliminates expensive idling phases in fluctuating compressed air demand and reduces power consumption. There is no need to start the compressor motor and expensive power peaks are avoided.
  • This means that fewer wearing parts are required and maintenance costs are reduced.
  • Up to 40% reduction in energy consumption.
  • The optimum dimensioning of the pipework and the treatment components result in further energy savings and minimisation of compressed air losses.
